ABOUT US

The African Centre for Media and Inter-Cultural Dialogue (ACMID) is a non-profit organization committed to promoting inter cultural understanding and dialogue through media and communication. We strive to facilitate and provide a platform for cross-cultural communication, media and information literacy, inter-cultural dialogue and understanding, and promote diversity in all aspects of society. Through research, advocacy, capacity building and strategic interventions, ACMID is committed to promoting an open society where divergent narratives coexist harmoniously using media and digital platforms as a tool for positive change.

To build a world where identity of difference, diverse culture and perspectives are recognized, understood, celebrated and embraced through strategic media engagement and communication

To create a platform for media professionals and stakeholders to share knowledge, ideas and best practices, and to empower individuals and communities to participate in building a more inclusive and equitable society.
